At the 1969 Watkins Glen race, the front of the starting lineup was Mark
Donohue
(Sunoco Camaro), Parnelli Jones (Bud Moore Mustang), Ed Leslie
(Sunoco Camaro), Peter Revson (Shelby Mustang), Jerry Titus (Pontiac
Firebird), George Follmer (Bud Moore Mustang), and Rusty Jowett (Camaro).

The Boss 302 Mustangs of George Follmer and Parnelli Jones in 1970 at Laguna Seca.

The closest finish in Trans-Am history was at Green Valley in 1967, when Dan Gurney's
Mercury Cougar barely beat teammate Parnelli Jones' Mercury Cougar.

Trans-Am featured names such as Mark Donohue (AMC Javelin),
George Follmer (Mustang) Dan Gurney (AAR Barracuda),
Sam Posey (Dodge Challenger) Ed Leslie (Chaparral Camaro),
Swede Savage ( AAR Barracuda), Jerry Titus (Pontiac Firebird),
and Jim Hall (Chaparral Camaro) at they charge toward
Turn Two at Laguna Seca, in 1970.
